Client: Multinational Pharmaceutical
Company
Dilemma:
Thousands of clinics were reporting outcomes results via multiple third-party data
services. Sales data for the clinics was provided by a separate organization. The
ability to perform comparative analysis of clinical outcomes in relation to product
sales at the local and programmatic levels was manual, tedious and burdensome.
Design:
Chainbridge Technologies designed a centralized system relating outcomes and sales
data to clinics, chains and geographic territories. The system was required to accommodate
the automated importation of data from many disparate sources. Other key components
of the design included an ad hoc searching capability, allowing users to perform
multilevel data queries, and an automated reporting requirement.
Implementation:
Utilizing the SQLDBI Solution Server and its automated development capabilities,
Chainbridge Technologies deployed a centralized system that associates clinical
outcomes and sales to clinics, geographical regions, sales territories, and sales
representatives. SQLDBI’s query engine was instrumental in allowing users to query
throughout the data structure through one interface. In addition, the dashboard
component aggregates critical data for analysis from the system desktop.
Benefits:
By associating clinical outcomes and sales data and centralizing that information
in a secure web-based system, users at every level benefit from the query and reporting
features. Program managers can now perform comparative analysis at the international,
national and regional levels. District managers can perform analysis on their specific
regions and individual representatives can prepare for their daily activities via
the Internet using this SQLDBI-based solution.
