Program Analyst Position

As a staff member you will work with software developers to verify the functionality and design of our software applications. You also will elicit and document requirements from end users as well as be able to present/train users on our software. You must be able to interact with staff of all seniority levels and varying technical abilities.

  • Knowledge of IT systems and/or cybersecurity a plus

  • Create user interface documentation and user guides
  • Perform database testing using SQL queries in MS SQL Server and functional and performance testing to ensure a stable and usable system
  • Identify, solve and document issues and/or bugs

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identifying system requirements by establishing personal rapport with users, clients and stakeholders
  • Providing user support to clients and system users
  • Developing materials for and delivering user training through in-person and webinar-based courses
  • Preparing and maintaining technical documentation and materials to include social media communications
  • Supporting the planning and conduct of internal and inter-agency drills and exercises
  • Additional duties may include attending regular client meetings and outreach functions
  • Testing new functionality on web-based and mobile platforms
  • Contributing to software look and feel (ui/ux design)
  • Developing test cases
  • Evaluating the intuitiveness of feature implementation
  • Coordinating with developers and project manager
